#Heisthegift

Dear Whanua and friends,
Happy December 1st! :) Wow! How exciting it is that Christmas is only 24 more days away and we can celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I don't know if you have seen it yet but the church has been advertising a new video called He is the Gift, found on You-tubes main pages, other social media sites, and at christmas.mormon.org
I highly exhort you to look at this wonderful video, share it with your friends and Share the Gift with everyone this Christmas season!
In 3 Nephi 5:13, I love this verse "Behold I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I have been called of Him to declare His word among His people that they may have Eternal Life." How great is this statement. Truly if we allow this doctrine to distill upon our souls it will fill us with more courage and ability to do the work of the Lord. WE have no need to fear, for we should fear no man, because of Jesus Christ we can do all things, because He came to earth, because He first loved us. Truly this knowledge will change us and help us to do all things in the name of our Savior.
Our mission president came and spoke to us this week for District meeting, and he shared with us something of great importance. He reminded me that we always think of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father as being Gods, but do we really realize and ponder upon the implication that the Holy Ghost is a god also. The Holy Ghost, a God, speaks to us truth. Heavenly Father's plan to come to earth and gain a physical body didn't include Him or His son being with us 24/7 but another God-the Holy Ghost. How great this knowlegde is! I would invite you all to recgonize more the Holy Ghost speaking to you develop a stronger relationship with Him in your life. If you will write down an experience for each time you have felt the Spirit it in the ways listed below, I can promise that you will have and grow a deep and abiding relationship with the Holy GHost in your life.

Thanksgiving was really good. One of the members was so kind ot have us over on Thanksgiving and feed us Chicken, roast vegies, pumkin pie, apple pie, rolls, and a salad. What a sweet family, eh!? It was wonderful to hear all her children share with us what they were thankful for and us likewise.
I love this gospel with all my heart. I am so grateful to be a  missionary at this time and to be a part of the Lord's work in this day. Love you all! Have a  great first week of December! Go and share the Good News with others.
Much love,
Sister Sudweeks
